Contest Details

We hope you’ll consider entering the DBSA 2009 "Facing Us" Video Contest.
The focus of this year’s contest will be on individuals’ journeys towards recovery. Our hope is to provide inspiration to individuals living with depression or bipolar disorder—to acknowledge that, though there may be dark times, there is also hope, and they are not alone.

By sharing your story, you can provide your peers much appreciated encouragement to keep working towards wellness. After our first video contest in 2007, one visitor to the Facing Us Clubhouse shared that, while in the depths of depression one dark night, he found comfort and hope in the personal story video of one of his peers—and that it saved his life! Perhaps your story will be a lifeline for someone as well.
